1. The installation position of the valve should not hinder the operation, disassembly and maintenance of the equipment, pipeline and valve body itself, and the beautiful appearance of the assembly should be considered.
2. For the valve on the horizontal pipeline, the valve stem should be installed upward or inclined at a certain angle, and the handwheel should not be installed downward. The valve, valve stem and hand wheel on the high-altitude pipeline can be installed horizontally, and the opening and closing of the valve can be operated remotely by the vertical chain.
3. The arrangement is symmetrical, neat and beautiful; The valve on the riser, under the premise of the process allows, the valve handwheel is the most suitable for operation, generally 1.0~1.2m from the ground, and the valve stem must be installed along the direction of the operator.
4. The valve on the side-by-side riser shall have the same centerline elevation, and the net distance between the handwheels shall not be less than 100mm; The valves on the side-by-side horizontal pipelines shall be staggered to reduce the pipeline spacing.
5. When installing heavy valves on water pumps, heat exchangers and other equipment, valve brackets should be set up; when operating frequently and installing valves above 1.8m from the operating surface, a fixed operating platform should be set up.
6. There are arrows on the valve body of the valve, and the direction of the arrow is the direction of the flow of the medium. When installing the valve, attention should be paid to making the arrow point the same as the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline.
7. When installing the flange valve, the two flange end faces should be parallel and concentric with each other, and double gaskets should not be used.
8. When installing threaded valves, a threaded valve should be equipped with a union for ease of disassembly. The setting of the live joint should consider the convenience of maintenance, usually the water flow through the valve before flowing through the live joint.
3. note the following small details
1. When handling the valve, it is not allowed to throw it at hand; when lifting and installing the valve, the rope should be tied to the valve body, and it is strictly prohibited to be tied to the hand wheel, valve stem and flange bolt hole.
2. The valve should be installed in the operation, maintenance and repair of the most convenient place, it is strictly prohibited to bury in the ground. The valves on the pipelines in the direct burial and trench shall be provided with inspection chamber to facilitate the opening, closing and adjustment of the valves.
3. Ensure that the thread is intact, and wrap hemp, lead oil or PTFE raw material tape on the thread. When screwing, a wrench is required to clamp the hexagonal valve body screwed into one end of the pipe.
4. When installing the flange valve, pay attention to tighten the connecting bolts along the diagonal direction, and the force should be uniform when screwing to prevent the gasket from deviating or causing deformation and damage to the valve body.
5. The valve should be kept closed during installation. For threaded valves near the wall, it is often necessary to remove the valve stem disc and handwheel before turning. When disassembling, the valve should be disassembled after turning the hand wheel to keep the valve open.
