Common Faults and Cause Analysis of Safety Valve

Fault one: safety valve leakage. The main reason is (1) the valve core and valve seat contact surface is not tight;(2) the valve core and valve seat contact surface dirt;(3) stem deflection. Fault two: the safety valve to the specified pressure does not open. The main reason is that (1) the valve core and the valve seat are stuck, which can be excluded by manual exhaust test;(2) The spring adjustment pressure of the spring-loaded safety valve is too large and should be readjusted;(3) The heavy hammer of the lever-type safety valve moves backward, and the heavy hammer should be moved to the original fixed pressure position and fastened with the limiting screw. Fault three: the safety valve is not open when the pressure is not specified. The main reason is
(1) the spring adjustment pressure of the spring type safety valve is not enough, the spring is invalid or the elastic force is insufficient, the safety valve should be readjusted or replaced;
(2) Lever-type safety valve heavy hammer move forward, the heavy hammer should be moved to the original fixed pressure position, with a limit screw fastening.
