When installing the Y-type filter, it should be noted that the gasket of this type of filter is non-metallic and is easily damaged due to overheating. Therefore, it is necessary to shorten the welding time and cool the filter after the welding is completed. If preheating is required before welding or heating is required after welding, it is recommended to remove the gasket and then heat it.
The system should be cleaned after a period of initial operation to remove the waste residue and dirt accumulated on the filter during the initial operation of the system. After that, regular cleaning is required. The number of cleaning times depends on the working conditions. If the filter does not have a drain plug, remove the filter stopper and filter screen when cleaning the Y-type filter.
