Through the introduction of key technologies and independent development, and give preferential treatment in regulations and policies. By the end of the 11th Five-Year Plan period, the localization rate of valve products on large ethylene special valves had reached 95-100%. Special valves for coal chemical industry are mainly high-temperature hydrogenation. In terms of ultra-supercritical thermal power station technology, the localization ratio of valves should reach 80%-100. Gratifying progress has been made in the localization of valve industry.

"Twelfth Five-Year" period, China's valve industry has made great progress. According to statistics, there were 1806 enterprises above designated size (enterprises with annual sales revenue of more than 20 million yuan) in 2015. Total assets were 194.8 billion billion yuan, up 2.01 year on year. Production of 9.9411 million tons of valves, up 1.32 year on year; The main business income was 256.6 billion billion yuan, up -0.47 year on year. The total profit was 17.2 billion billion yuan, up -5.78 year on year. Profit margin 6.7; The price index of valve products was 98.5. The export delivery value was 34.4 billion yuan, up -8.58 year on year.

Through the introduction of technology and digestion and absorption and independent development, as well as technological transformation, the whole industry has generally improved the level of product development, design and manufacturing. At present, it has produced more than 3000 models and more than 40000 specifications of valve products. The overall level has reached the international level of moderately developed countries, and a few products have reached or approached the international advanced level. The testing methods and test conditions for regular valves have been met. Test benches for individual special valves, such as high temperature test, ultra-low temperature test and full performance test benches for safety valves for nuclear power plants (steam displacement 660 T/h), have also been built.

After digesting and absorbing the imported technology and carrying out independent research and development, especially after the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period to carry out the localization of ultra-supercritical thermal power valves, the manufacturing level and product quality of thermal power valves in my country have been greatly improved. Supercritical and ultra-supercritical thermal power units provide a large number of key valves.

At present, China's valve industry enterprises need to pay attention to the problems. Our state-owned enterprises should strive to improve the system and mechanism, improve the modern enterprise system, and promote the healthy development of enterprises; private enterprises have made great progress after more than 30 years of hard work, but it is not easy to go to a higher level; in the current environment of overcapacity, it is necessary for industry enterprises to develop intelligent manufacturing according to sales volume, focus on the development of enterprise core technology, and enhance the added value of products.

With the release of the "Made in China 2025" plan and the arrival of the "13th Five-Year Plan", the valve industry will usher in new developments in the following areas:

1. Reheater safety valve, main steam gate valve, high-pressure three-way valve, main steam safety valve and high and low pressure bypass control valve of key valves of large ultra (ultra) critical thermal power units;

2. Main steam isolation valve, pressurizer proportional spray valve, burst valve, main steam safety valve and pressurizer safety valve of key valves for large nuclear power plants;

3. Large-diameter high-temperature and high-pressure hydrogenation valves for petrochemical and coal chemical valves, four-way bellows switching ball valves, high-pressure wear-resistant regulating valves, pilot-operated safety valves and ultra-low temperature safety valves, etc;

4.56 high-pressure fully welded ball valves, forced sealing valves, high-pressure plug valves, cryogenic ball valves for liquefied natural gas, cryogenic butterfly valves for liquefied natural gas, cryogenic axial flow check valves for liquefied natural gas, etc. for long-distance natural gas pipelines and supporting valves for liquefied natural gas.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the valve industry should achieve scientific development, take the lead in development, and seize domestic and foreign market opportunities to accelerate development. Integration with "Internet" will seamlessly connect "Made in China 2025" with the belt and road initiative. During the development of new products, enterprises must be combined with market demand, to clarify the use of products; increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, the development of high-end intelligent valve new products, to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading.
