5. The proportional pressure reducing valve in the fire water supply system shall not be provided with a bypass pipe. During the construction of the pressure reducing valve of the fire hydrant system of Jiangyin Building, a bypass pipe was installed at the beginning. After about one and a half years of use, it was found that the pressure gauge value behind the valve was the same as that in front of the valve. When the test valve is opened, the test pressure display is normal. After inspection, it was found that the aging of the valve rubber lining on the bypass pipe caused leakage, resulting in abnormal static pressure and normal pressure. Therefore, in order to ensure the reliability of the water supply of the fire water supply system, I think the bypass pipe should not be set.
