General check valves include:
1. Vertical lift check valve. The medium inlet and outlet channels are in the same direction as the valve channel, and the flow resistance is less than the straight channel. The vertical lift check valve is installed on the vertical pipe.
2. Direct-acting check valves can only be installed on horizontal pipes. Limited by installation requirements, for smaller diameters, it is usually used for small diameter occasions with DN <50.
Second, swing check valve: the valve is disc-shaped and rotates around the hinge of the valve channel. Since the passage in the valve is streamlined, the flow resistance is less than that of the poppet check valve. It is suitable for medium and small diameter, low pressure and large diameter pipes (large diameter conditions, low flow rate and infrequent flow changes). The sealing performance is not as good as the lifting type, the installation position is not restricted, and it can be installed on horizontal, vertical or inclined pipes.
3. Butterfly check valve: straight-through type, the structure is similar to the butterfly valve. The structure is simple, the flow resistance is small, and the water hammer pressure is small. The disc rotates about a pin in the valve seat. The disc check valve has a simple structure and can only be installed on horizontal pipes with poor sealing performance.
Diaphragm check valve: There are many structural forms, all of which use the diaphragm as a switch. The waterproof hammer has good performance, simple structure and low cost, and has developed rapidly in recent years. However, the operating temperature and pressure of the diaphragm check valve are limited by the diaphragm material. Diaphragm check valves are suitable for pipelines that are prone to water hammer. Diaphragm valve can be a good way to eliminate media backflow. When water hammer occurs, it is usually a low-pressure normal-temperature pipeline, especially a tap water pipeline. The working temperature of the medium is generally between -12-120 ℃, and the working pressure is less than 1.6MPa.
