This method is simpler than using a regulating valve, but it should be appropriate, otherwise the liquid is prone to cavitation and affects the safe operation of the pipeline.

Before the fluid flows through the throttling device, the fluid flow conditions should be turbulent, the Reynolds number should be within a certain range, and there should be no vortex; the flow beam must be parallel to the pipeline axis, and there should be no rotating flow.
The flow meter of the throttle orifice device consists of a pressure flange or ring chamber, an orifice plate and a differential pressure transmitter. The pressure flange or ring chamber is used to take out the fluid pressure before and after the orifice plate, the orifice plate is used to throttle the pressure difference, and the differential pressure transmitter is used to measure the pressure difference before and after the orifice plate, so as to measure the fluid flow through the orifice plate.

Debugging and deactivation methods of flowmeter of throttling orifice plate device: before debugging, check whether the pipeline is clean, whether the flowmeter meets the requirements and whether the pressure test is completed; Ensure that the flowmeter runs smoothly within its effective measurement range after operation; The debugging steps of flowmeter are as follows: the balance valve shall be opened to slightly open the root valve, the secondary valve and the drain valve shall be closed, and the pressure pipeline system shall be checked for leakage. If there is no leakage, fully open the primary valve to open the blowdown valve respectively for blowdown, then close the blowdown valve, loosen the plug of the positive and negative pressure chamber of the differential pressure transmitter, remove air, open the transmitter positive pressure valve, close the balance valve, open the transmitter negative pressure valve, and start the differential pressure transmitter. The closing steps of the throttle orifice flowmeter are as follows: close the negative pressure valve of the transmitter, open the balance valve, close the positive pressure valve of the transmitter, close the secondary valve, open the blowdown valve for blowdown, and then close the blowdown valve.
