The working principle of the orifice plate: the fluid filled in the pipeline flows through the throttling device in the pipeline, causing local contraction near the throttling element, increasing the flow rate, and generating a static pressure difference between the upstream and downstream sides. When the relevant parameters are known, the relationship between the pressure difference and the flow rate can be derived, and the flow rate can be obtained according to the principle of flow continuity and the Bernoulli equation.

Throttle orifice plate measurement principle: when the fluid filled with the pipe flows through the orifice plate, it will produce concentrated flow, increased flow, local contraction and reduced static pressure, so the static pressure difference will be generated before and after the orifice plate. The greater the flow rate, the greater the pressure difference, and the static pressure difference has a certain function relationship with the flow rate. The instantaneous and cumulative flow in the pipeline can be displayed by the flow indicator, and the differential pressure signal is transmitted to the differential pressure transmitter through the pressure conduit and converted4 ~ 20 mA DCstandard signal. There are three commonly used pressure taking methods for orifice plate throttling devices: angle pressure taking(Ring chamber, drilling)And flange pressure.

Orifice orifice measurement standard: Flow measurement throttling device uses orifice plate, nozzle and venturi tube to measure the flow of fluid filled with circular tube. The flow measurement of the main pipeline of urban artificial gas adopts the method of standard orifice plate throttling device, and the standard orifice plate flowmeter is used to measure the flow of natural gas.

A restriction orifice plate is provided in the pipe to restrict the flow of the fluid or reduce the pressure of the fluid. The flow limiting orifice plate is used in the following aspects: the accuracy requirement is not high, and the process material needs to be depressurized.
