The function of the gas drain is to collect and discharge the condensed water in the gas pipeline. The following problems exist in the use of the ordinary gas drain: when the production conditions change so that the gas pressure rises a lot in an instant, the gas drain is easy to be broken down, resulting in a large amount of gas leakage, causing serious accidents.
The role of gas drainer
1. The function of the gas drain is to collect and discharge the condensed water in the gas pipeline. The following problems exist in the use of the ordinary gas drain: when the production conditions change so that the gas pressure rises a lot in an instant, the gas drain is easy to be broken down, resulting in a large amount of gas leakage, causing serious accidents;
2. When the gas pressure fluctuates frequently, the gas drainer cannot automatically replenish water. If the manual water replenishment is not timely, it will lead to gas leakage, which is easy to cause fire or gas poisoning of personnel. 3. In the low temperature environment in the north, the drainer is prone to freeze when working, causing the equipment to fail to work normally. It is necessary to effectively keep the drainer warm or take electric heat tracing technical measures.
4. The water heater mainly uses the height of the water seal to seal the gas. Due to the different medium pressures, in order to keep the equipment height within the scope of easy operation and maintenance, there are single water seal and double chamber water seal respectively. Generally, the water seal height of the drain is within 1000mm using single water seal, and more than 1000mm using double chamber water seal or multi chamber water seal. The height of the water seal of the drain is generally 500mm of water column in addition to the calculated pressure.
5. When there is more condensate, it accumulates in the pipeline to reduce the cross section of the pipeline, causing gas pressure fluctuation and increasing pressure drop. Water seal is formed in low-lying areas to stop gas transmission. It is also possible to cause excessive water in the pipeline and collapse the pipeline under excessive load.
