The one-way valve is a directional control valve that can only flow in one direction and cannot flow in reverse. Its working principle is the same as the hydraulic check valve. Compressed air enters from port P, overcomes spring force and friction force to open the one-way valve port, and compressed air flows from P to A; When there is no compressed air at port P, under the action of spring force and residual air force at port A (cavity); The valve port is in a closed state, making air flow from A to P impassable. The one-way valve is used in occasions where the air flow is not allowed to flow in the opposite direction. For example, when the air compressor inflates the air tank, a one-way valve is set between the air compressor and the air tank. When the air compressor stops working, the compressed air in the air tank can be prevented from flowing back to the air compressor. One-way valves are also often combined with throttle valves, sequence valves, etc. to form one-way throttle valves and one-way sequence valves.

Precautions for Installation of Check Valve
When installing the check valve, special attention should be paid to the direction of the medium flow, and the direction of the normal flow of the medium should be consistent with the direction of the arrow indicated on the valve body, otherwise it will cut off the normal flow of the medium. The bottom valve should be installed at the bottom of the water pump suction pipe.
When the check valve is closed, water hammer pressure will be generated in the pipeline, which will cause damage to the valve, pipeline or equipment in severe cases, especially for large-port pipelines or high-pressure pipelines, so the check valve should be selected for high attention.
Check valve only for the prevention of various types of pipeline or equipment on the fluid medium reverse flow of one-way opening and closing valve.
